Our Math Program

Our Math Enrichment Program is designed to help enhance your child’s math skills by imparting an overall understanding of math concepts, skills and processes. We are confident that you will see significant improvement in your child’s performance at school as our programs foster logical thinking and analytical reasoning.

Our program is created by a team of highly experienced and qualified teachers. Our experienced teachers deliver the program to students in a nurturing and inspiring environment to encourage and motivate students to be lifetime learners. Our teachers strive to build problem solving skills that will boost confidence and forge a positive- attitude towards math.

We enroll students in K through 12th grades. Students will attend classes twice a week for about an hour long.

Our Anchoring Principle

"The essence of mathematics is not to make simple things complicated, but to make complicated things simple."

S. Gudder

The primary goal of our program is to impart

  • The ability to identify and analyze patterns
  • Logical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to see relationships to decode and to analyze problems
  • Deductive and Inductive reasoning skills to break down and solve problems
  • Confidence and in-depth knowledge of math to develop lifelong passion for mathematics

The Strategy
After years of teaching and research to understand the learning patterns of students, we have put together a comprehensive Math program that will cater to different types of learners. We use highly synchronized verbal, visual, tactile, written and mental techniques to invigorate the child’s mind to learn math. We teach techniques that will help students to logically think through the problem to effectively solve problems.

Quick Computational Skills
Students are taught how and when to use mental math techniques. This will empower students to avoid needless paper and pencil work and concentrate on holistic problem solving.

Example: Multiply 90 X 22 can be solved without the 2 -digit X 2- digit addition as follows 90 (20 + 2) = 1800 + 180 = 1980

Vocabulary and Math Jargon
Teaching math vocabulary words is an integral part of the program. Students are taught how to decode the words using meaning of root words in the mathematics context. Students especially in younger classes are taught to rehearse multiplication facts etc.
